Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I will service a classrooms full of second graders who are passionate about learning and steadily cultivating mathematician skills through the exposure of different strategies. Incorporating a wide variety of manipulative helps students growth in background knowledge and foster interests amongst classmates. I look forward to diversifying their classroom with math manipulatives that will broaden their horizons. We serve students of all abilities ranging from special education, English as a second language, and gifted and talented.
My Project
These resources will make a differences for my students because it will help me reach all of my different learning styles. By making math more fun and helping students use manipulatives they will build conventions that will help service them and we delve deeper into different concepts. Each skill will build upon the last and these resources will help service my students both remotely and in the classroom as we services them and learning both in a whole group and small group setting. I look forward to witnessing their journey as mathematicians!
