My Students

Our resource classroom is a busy and fun place. In my classroom, I am surrounded by students who all have different strengths and weaknesses. Some of my students have difficulties in reading, math, spelling, and writing. Others simply struggle to focus and maintain their attention in a general education setting. I like to allow them to find what works best for them to learn. While I try to teach them the core concepts in each area, they teach me so much more!

My Project

Basic classroom materials such as erasers, scissors, glue sticks, markers, crayons are needed and necessary for my students to be successful with the curriculum both in my room and their other classes.

Sensory and fidget items are very necessary to help my students with ADHD focus and maintain their attention.

They need a variety of options in order to find the best option for them. Flexible seating helps my students to learn in ways that are best for them. Some students may choose to stand, sit at traditional desks/tables, sit on the floor/rug or choose a comfy option such as a beanbag chair.
