My Students

Welcome to Mrs. Chandler's 3rd grade class! Our students are eager to learn! Students at our school come from all walks of life and would greatly benefit from using up to date, easily accessible technology . Our 3rd graders love to research, read various genres, and participate in different types of creative lessons and projects to enhance their reading and writing experiences. We are looking forward to taking virtual field trips, exploring new places, and learning about new topics via Apple iPads. Thank you for taking the time to consider our class!

My Project

One of my favorite iPad applications allows students to take virtual field trips. Students are able to walk around and view places such as Paris, Germany, Mexico, and African deserts. The experiences are priceless and expose students to topics they often read about yet rarely get to see.

Also, our students will be able to practice fluency, comprehension, and reading on various programs that allow for creative learning.

The iPads have many different features that allow learning at different levels. The iPad can read aloud text, take pictures, videos, and much more! The Apple iPad is also compatible with most applications that students can also use at home.
