I need help funding an amazing professional development opportunity to see the famous Ron Clark in action!
This project expired on April 30, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
Being a teacher, a difference maker, is the most challenging and rewarding thing I have the privilege of doing each day. Some days I go home in tears because of the stories I hear and some days I run home excited because a student was excited about mastering multi-digit multiplication. It is the hardest and the best thing I do.
This is my second year of teaching, and I am confident that I am fulfilling my life's purpose.
The leaders I am blessed to teach this year are creative, kind, and outgoing! I have students from all kinds of backgrounds, all kinds of experiences, and all with unique interests. I will do whatever it takes to highlight each of these student's strengths and meet whatever needs they may have. I want to encourage and show students that with an education they can achieve any dream they may have.
I would like to opportunity to attend a two-day professional development at the Ron Clark Academy because I want to enhance my instruction and teaching! Ron Clark is known for his engaging lessons and positive teaching atmosphere. I would love to incorporate the strategies he uses in his school in my own fourth grade classroom.
By observing at this unique school, I feel that I would certainly be a better teacher, cheerleader, and mentor to my students.
This would also give me a chance to change my classroom management so that it is more effective, consistent, and meets the needs of my students.
