My Students
I am an ESL teacher at a Title One school. My 22 kindergarteners are bursting with energy and personality! There is rarely a dull moment in our classroom. They enjoy hands on materials that allow them to become scientists, meteorologists, writers, mathematicians, and more. My bouncing bunch of kiddos are what make me love coming to school every day and being their teacher!
My diverse group of children come from every type of background and each are an important piece of our classroom puzzle!
My Project
My kindergarten scientists will love to use the "Can Do Science Discovery Kits" and "Fairytale Problem Solving Stem Kits" to learn about science in a hands-on way! These kits will be placed in small group learning stations where they can explore magnets, color and light, magnification, motion, sound, and sinking and floating. The Fairytale STEM kits will allow them to connect literature to real life science problems.
My growing scientists deserve scientific stations that will help to challenge their minds in a hands-on way that will excite them!
We will use these daily in our learning stations as well as during our science lessons. These stations will become a much anticipated portion of our day!
