My Students
My students are the sweetest kids you will find at our high school, but I am biased. These students enjoy waiting in the halls to greet others and get their morning hugs from peers and staff. My students always put in their best effort and strive to reach their goals. We are continuously working on developing our social, life, and academic skills in our class. Each student is unique and brightens your day in their own way. They are loving, caring, and kind.
My Project
These materials will help our student in a number of ways. First, it will help the students to build life skills that they can use inside and outside of the classroom. It will also help students to become more independent in their daily lives. Second, it will help the students to develop academic skills in the area of math and reading. This will give the students the opportunity to learn how to read a recipe, measure ingredients, manage time, and make healthy meals. Helping these students learn these functional life skills will be something they can use for the rest of their lives.
