My Students

My students are twelve and thirteen year old seventh graders in middle school. They are a diverse group of students. Many do not have access to technology at home. The majority of my students are living in poverty.

My students are extremely diversified.

They are eager learners and very active. They love to use technology when we get to use it. Technology is the present and the future. I want to close the achievement gap for my students by allowing them to use technology in the classroom!

My Project

My school is in a low poverty area, and many of my students only have access to technology at school - not at home. These Acer Chromebooks will be used by students for math math web sites to increase specific skills, and playing math games. They will also be able to use them for watching math tutorials if they need extra help with a skill.

Students are more likely to learn when you make the learning fun with technology.

In today's world, technology is so important. I want my students to have every opportunity to be great future leaders. I want them to love learning and do fantastic things in the world!
