My Project

I see all the students at my elementary school. I teach lessons using physical movement integrated with science, math, and art to have a real tactile and engaging learning experience. This is not a sit at your desk to learn but a whole body experience to understand state core standards in science. My students need exercise balls to better understand scientific experiments using force, gravity, energy types, and solar system rotation. Their tests scores in science and math raise by two points by using my class as a new approach to thinking about concepts taught in their classroom. My students cannot wait to learn academics in an engaging, physical way. They light up when they come into my room. The have so much fun not sitting at a desk. They love to move and use physical problem solving to have a deeper understanding.
