Our middle school received over 2 feet of water from Hurricane Harvey and was declared a total loss. We live in a rural area and most of our families' homes flooded as well as our school. We need a beautiful classroom.
We have moved to our portable campus and we are so excited!
A classroom is the anchor to education and we are so glad to have one of our own again. Now it's time to put the finishing touches on it and replace lost curriculum.
My Project
Hurricane Harvey destroyed our school and all of its contents. We need new Career Portals (exploration) curriculum to help us explore our futures. I have included several career books to help us as well as a thumb ball to initiate thoughts about future choices. We also need headphones since our class is a technology class.
We've come along way since August but we need just a few more items to complete our classroom home.
We need nice organizational storage and a few more simple classroom supplies. Markers for labeling and disinfecting wipes to clean our headphones. (Especially with flu season upon us.) These items will be the finishing touches on our beautiful new classroom.
