Help me give my students the picnic tables from Grainger to complete our outdoor classroom.

Our scholars work hard every day and are eager to learn and experience new things. This says a lot as many of these little scholars face challenges and adversity in their community. Because we are a Title I school, 100% of the students receive free breakfast and lunch. Our teachers and staff strive daily to provide the best possible safe and loving environment so that our scholars can succeed and grow into future leaders.
The teaching staff strives to enrich our scholars with experiences that will build background and enhance learning.
Our students are very inquisitive and thrive on hands-on learning. It is so great to see our students beam when they get to try something new. One way to help provide these types of opportunities is to take our scholars outside the walls of the school and experience learning in new settings, like our outdoor atrium. An outdoor classroom will be the perfect spot for our young scholars to read, write, collaborate with each other, and conduct STEM activities.
Our school has a fantastic outdoor atrium that has been unused for many years. As you can see from the posted picture, the space has been cleaned out and is ready to go! The space is a perfect spot to bring learning outdoors. We are requesting two picnic tables from Grainger which will help bring life back to the atrium by allowing students to enjoy learning outside the classroom walls.
Our outdoor classroom will benefit the entire school and allow an additional space for learning.
This is just one phase of our outdoor classroom project. Our school will be establishing a group of outdoor classroom ambassadors who will be responsible for maintaining this space. This is to include establishing the flower bed areas and general garden maintenance. One of our goals is to provide a setting where classes can further their science life sciences unit.
