This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Let me tell you, this class of 2020 is one with loads of personality and spirit! Every day is what we make it, and that's an environment full of friendship, learning, and fun! We love to laugh and play together, but ultimately we love to learn new things! As a first-year teacher, it is my goal to bring these kiddos love and support in every way I can. I want to make learning fun and applicable to them as first graders. My fun group of 20 keeps me on my toes with their willingness to learn new things every day!

Many of the students I teach come from low socioeconomic backgrounds and diverse at-risk populations.

That does not stop them. Every day, we have the chance to have the best day ever, and they work to achieve just that!

I teach at a Title I school, and my students do not always have the things that are needed for them to grow and learn like other students might. My love for this school and group continues to grow every day, and I want to give as much as I can while they are in my room.

My Project

The 2020-2021 school year is going to be very exciting as I am moving up with my students. I am so excited. As we move up we are going to get organized in the process, plus use the items every day. Headphones being the main thing we need on the list.

During this exciting time, we'll need new book storage and carpet spot dots to up our flexible reading game.

There are students who read at different levels and have different learning styles.

I would be so thankful to have these supplies in my new classroom. I can't wait for the next year to get started.
