My Students

I work with 4-year-old students. They are just wonderful. They always come to school full of energy and ready to learn.

Some of them are really shy, but when given the opportunity, they show how very smart they are.

The majority of my students qualifies for free or reduced lunch so it is not a surprise that many of them have never been exposed to much, making school the greatest thing that has happened to them (best motivation to do my best as a teacher). Colorful, educational materials will be greatly appreciated.

My Project

One of the goals of PK is to help the kids develop gross motor skills along with fine motor skills in order to get them ready for reading and writing. Many of them have had few opportunities to engage in outdoors activities so it requires purposeful planning to introduce them to this type of activities in a playful way.

By donating to this project, you will be helping us ease the introduction to activities that will surely be challenging to many but fun and engaging , too.

The Wrist Ribbons will allow my students to move those arms and legs as they respond to different types of music. The Swing & Catch Cups and the Soft & Safe Comet Balls sets will be perfect to help them strengthen their gross and fine muzzles as well as developing their hand-eye coordination.
