My students need all of the basics when it comes to physical education. At this moment we have very little equipment and I am looking for all the essentials, such as a wireless speaker, scooter boards and pinnies, to start our workout unit.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

The founding class at our school are natural born leaders.
These students rise to the occasion and show true grit. Many of these students were effected by the natural disaster Hurricane Harvey and lack the resources of most schools in the Cypress area. I could not imagine being in their shoes. With the culture created here at our school, you would not be able to tell the difficulties they experience. I am proud to be their teacher.
My Project
"Create healthy habits not restrictions" (Kobe Bryant). Culture is very important and we want to ensure that being physically fit is a part of our culture here at our school.
We want to equip our students with the knowledge and work ethic to become physically fit, while having fun.
These items will allow our students to jam out while exercising.
Obesity is a big thing in our country, and at our school we want to become advocates in the fight against it. We would do this by meeting our students where they are physically and creating individual goals for them with MOVING FOR FUN activities.
The items I chose will be used for the following;
Wireless speakers to use while the kids are working out and doing different circuit workouts and running the mile.
Scooter boards will be used for bear crawl workouts during our circuit workouts.
Pinnies will be used for team games and so we can separate and differentiate who's on what team or group. Also could be used for team practices.
