Moving, Drumming, and Breathing Breaks!

Help me give my students fun and engaging activities to do for movement breaks and during recess indoors!

My Project

We live in Wisconsin where our winter days can be extremely cold! On days when the temperature or wind chill is below zero, we have to stay indoors for recess. These days can be consecutive and feel like they last forever!

This project would provide thinking games, as well as calming/breathing and movement activities to use during indoor recess or whole class brain breaks.

The pool noodles would be split into 3 to use for cardio desk drumming!

I'm also including some affirmation cards in my project because I feel like affirmations right away in the morning are a great way to start our day!
