My students need seating options. Little minds work best when they are not confined to chairs and tables. Wobble chairs allow them to complete their work while also moving as needed.

Developmental kindergarten is such an exciting group of mixed interests, abilities, and goals.
Some of my students are learning to read, write and count, while some of their classmates are learning to imitate sounds or hold a paintbrush. They love to play outside, learn new games and boogie to a sweet tune.
My kinders are a diverse group of learners. Many of my students come from military families and have experienced many different schools. I would like for my kinders to see our classroom as a comfortable and loving environment where learning is fun and exciting.
My Project
Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. As a first year teacher, I am excited to implement flexible seating in my classroom. During independent work times, students may choose a location in the classroom that works for them.
My students will be allowed to work in a variety of locations in our room such as: at different tables, sitting under tables with clip boards, or sitting or laying on the floor with a clip board.
Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them. The requested wobble chairs will give my students one more option of seating in our classroom while allowing them to sit at a table if necessary.
