My second graders are amazing; we are one big community of learners. My students take a genuine interest in each other, work hard to achieve their goals, and constantly seek out new ways to learn. We love to wiggle, giggle, and grow!
Our school is a three-time National School of Character, my seven and eight-year-olds shine every day.
My students are both strong leaders and team players. They are hands-on learners who learn best through interaction and experience. Every day is a great day with my second graders, it's truly an honor to teach these children.
My small friends are on a roll; one that can't be stopped! My second graders love to be up, down, and all around. The learning that occurs in our classroom is contagious, simply because we move and groove while we work. BUT, our cold hard four-legged chairs just aren't willing to move and groove with us.
I am interested in providing my students with alternative seating to allow for choice in the way in which they learn best!
Learning can be tough, so why not have fun while you power through? This project provides my students with two Kore Wobble Stools so my small friends can sit and swivel while they make their brains bigger.
By implementing alternative seating, my seven and eight year olds will move, groove, learn and tolerate! Talk about a teacher's dream!
