My students need clipboards in order to work better in groups and to be able to move around while learning. In addition, my students also need markers and erasers to use with their dry erase boards.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Trying to close the achievement gap is extremely hard without the necessary materials. Our students come from a variety of backgrounds and 100% of students receive free lunch. My students are hard working students.
Students are curious to learn about the world around them.
I want to be able to quench that thirst. Even though students are diverse culturally and academically, they try their hardest everyday. The opportunity and achievement gaps are apparent among our student population. My students want to succeed everyday.
My Project
I am requesting clipboards, markers, and erasers because students should be able to learn in any part of the classroom. My students sometimes find it hard to learn in different areas of the classroom because of a lack of these supplies. Sometimes instructional time is lost because of the lack of these supplies. Funding this grant will help students can learn to collaborate easier. These items will make group work and collaboration easier.
Learning should not be confined to a desk.
Students should have the opportunity to move around while learning. This grant will help our students learn anywhere in the classroom; not just at their desks.
