My Students

I am lucky to have many of my former 3rd graders again as 5th graders. This particular group of students are hard workers who love to move. I am looking forward to implementing a variety of seating options (with your help!) to help my students optimize their experience in the last year of elementary school as they self select seating choices in order to improve focus, independence and learning. Please consider helping these amazing and deserving kiddos who often come to school looking for the freedom to be themselves as they make independent learning choices moving into middle school and beyond.

My Project

My students will be able to use these stools to move as they learn, getting energy out so they can focus on each lesson without distracting their peers. I have had this group of students before as 3rd graders, and am blessed to have them again as 5th graders! I plan on giving them a variety of seating options, as I know this is a very independent and energetic group. I am confident their learning will thrive with these additional seating choices! Many of these students do not have a lot of control over their home lives, so I feel that they will really shine when they have more choices within their control, even with something as simple as seating. Thank you in advance for your support in helping me provide these stools for my students.
