My students need wobble stools to provide movement during the school day. They need pencil boxes, clear plastic bins and Post-its to organize materials for science and reading.
My students make up a creative and energetic group of children. They work hard in school even when some of what we are learning is hard. They love to move, to play, and to learn!
This is a very unique group of students.
They have many unique needs for their learning. They ask great questions and they are interested in learning many new things.
This students are from a small town where relationships are key. They are all very involved outside of school as well as in school. These activities keep them busy and ready to always do more!
My Project
These materials will help make a difference in my students' learning and improve their school lives in many ways. One way the wobble stools will help students is by providing an outlet for appropriate movement during the school day. The plastic bin and pencil boxes with provide more classroom organization for the students so materials are easily accessible. The post it notes will provide students with more materials to take notes while they are independently reading. The books will provide more diverse reading materials to engage all types of readers. All of these materials will help increase student engagement in the classroom environment while also providing them more opportunities to be organized and successful.
