As a kindergarten teacher in a full inclusion classroom, I see the need for children to be able to wiggle while they work. The kindergarten curriculum is rigorous and it's difficult to focus on learning if you're constantly being expected to sit still. I often have students falling out of their chairs because there's really no way for them to move their bodies around safely on a stationary object.
Help me keep my students safe and actively engaged in their learning.
My Project
I teach in an inclusive kindergarten classroom and have several students that need to move while working. Sometimes they stand, but often they want to sit. They need to move and wiggle around and have often fallen off of their chairs because the chairs don't move with them. These wobble chairs will keep students moving and safe.
Please help me engage student learning and keep students safe by providing alternative wobble chair seating.
These wobble chairs will help my current students and many more students over the years. There are so many options available for alternative seating. I'd love to fill my whole classroom with different types of seating, this is just the beginning.
