Movement Manipulatives for the Music Room

Help me give my students a parachute, stretchy band and a tubano drum to enhance our movement activities in the music room.

My Project

I love my students because they love moving in new and exciting ways in the music room. They know about locomotor and non-locomotor movements and incorporate them in every creative way they are able. The addition of a parachute and stretchy band will enhance their movement skills and create ways for them to work more cooperatively.

With the parachute and stretchy band, students listening adventures will become more meaningful and give them a tactile way to determine the concept of Form in music.

In this era of Covid , this will a be a wonderful way for my students to return to cooperative activities.
