Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have the privilege of teaching music to elementary students. Coming from teaching in a regular classroom for 13 years, I will need to change up things. I teach at a Title I school in a high diversity neighborhood where over 90% of students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. We try to give our students every advantage that we possibly can.
My students are inquisitive and ready to learn.
I know that with assistance, we can have a great school year.
My Project
I am asking for some new books to bring movement and games into my classroom. Along with so books to use our boomwhackers that were left to me with no other resources. I want my classroom to have lots of movement and fun so that they students stay engaged and out of trouble.
The more the students like to participate the more fun we have in my classroom.
I want to encourage my students to participate in music and I need some additional resources in order for that to happen.
