My Students

Metro Deaf School is a charter school serving Deaf students in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul Metro area.

My classroom is filled with unique learners, each with their own special abilities and challenges.

In addition to being Deaf some have other challenges, however they continue to grow and learn. We love to work collaboratively and have recently adopted a flexible seating classroom. This has helped so many of the my students to learn in a comfortable environment, we have utilized exercise balls, pillows and comfortable chairs.

My Project

My students are eager to know about the world. They also face many challenges. To help meet their different needs, I purchased several types of seating. Students enjoy choosing seating according to their learning styles.

Some students need the input from movement in order to learn.

These two Neorok stools will add an additional option for those who take in and retain information best while moving. Your donation to this project will ensure unique learners have the tools for success.
