Movement Helps Me Learn
My students need 6 balancing ball chairs.
Many of us need to move our bodies in some way to be able to learn. Many of my special education students need movement in order to pay attention and learn.
My amazing 55 speech and language impaired students attend an art focus school in a large city.
I work with students who have articulation, language, fluency and voice disorders. Many of my students also have attention deficit difficulties, autism and sensory integration difficulties. This means that movement helps my students attend to tasks during school.
I am requesting 6 balance ball chairs to help combine the benefits of sitting on a chair that assists with sensory integration, balance and improving my students' posture at the same time they are focusing on working on their speech and language skills
By assisting with my students' movements in positive manner my 55 hard working students can focus on their speech and language goals.
My unique learners need different ways to access their learning environment.
