Help me give my students equipment for action based learning and flexible seating, such as: a balance beam for multiple challenges, a wobble stool, lap desk, resistance bands, balance stones and board, a fit board, and an agility ladder.
If I were to use three words to describe my students, they would be: courageous, caring, and passionate. My students are risk takers, and LOVE to try new things. They have all of the love in the world, built into their little bodies. They have a passion for learning, and want to learn as much as they possibly can. My students are undoubtedly the reason that I teach.
My students are full of passion and spend each day, soaking up as much as they possibly can.
They come to school each and every day, ready to learn. My students are excited to even do the most simplest of tasks. They NEVER give up, and never stop trying. They care about one another, and are always trying their personal best. My students have a heart for learning, and are always making me a proud teacher.
These amazing kids have a bright future ahead of them. I hope to provide them with everything that they need to continue into a successful future. I cannot wait to explore the rest of this year with them, and see the amazing things that they will do in this
My Project
My students are so eager to learn, and they have a lot of energy to get out. With items such as the wobble stool and balance board, students can focus all of their extra energy into the tools beneath them so they are able to accomplish the task at hand. There is a strong connection between movement and learning. Students are able to cross the mid-line with their learning with things like the agility ladder, and balance stones. When students are able to use the left and right side of their brain in what they are doing, they are increasing their cognitive abilities.
My students will benefit immensely from being able to release their energy through different avenues.
Flexible seating and action based learning increase cognitive abilities greatly. Students will be able to choose where they learn best and find different ways to show their learning. They can use these items for various skills. These items, such as the balance board and agility ladder are able to be applied to all subjects. Students can practice a skill while balancing on a ladder or stones. My students would love the opportunity to be able to focus all of their extra energy into learning.
