Help me give my students this round activity table and kidney shaped activity table and yoga balls so that my kids can spread out from the four small tables that they are currently all sharing.
My second grade class is bubbling over with excitement! This adventurous and spirited group of 7 year olds need a ton of hands-on experiences to keep them engaged and focused.
I am inspired by their enthusiasm and love of learning.
Their excitement is contagious and I want to make sure that it never fades. I am constantly looking for new ways to keep them motivated and to support their love of learning.
My students need a lot of opportunities for movement. They have different needs in their learning environment. I am constantly trying to create a classroom that caters to their individual learning styles and developmental stages so that they are able to focus and thrive.
My Project
My wiggly students need the ability to get up and move. They are currently crammed together at 4 small tables now. This round table and activity table will allow us to spread out and work in small groups more effectively. The yoga balls will help the students have the ability to move about and get their wiggles out without disturbing the other students. These white boards will allow us all to spread out on the floor and work together.
Children learn better when they are comfortable and can move about.
These seating options and tables will help them do just that! They will have the ability to find the seating that is most conducive to their learning style.
