Help me give my students the flexible seating and fidgets that will help them be able to move while working, and for the graphic novels that will for sure be a big hit in my room.
I have an amazing opportunity to work with such incredible students. By working in an elementary, special education room, I get to work with students over several years and watch them learn and grow. I have the unique opportunity to share my classroom with other services providers, and tools and equipment are utilized by many students throughout the day. I love having the chance to share my room with another teacher and to meet and work with so many of our students.
My Project
Many of my students struggle with being able to focus on tasks while needing to fidget or wiggle. Both the flexible seating and fidgets will give my students the movement they need while being able to work on their tasks at hand. Having chairs that are stationary will help students to remain stable while working with a little wiggle, and with the different type of sensory fidgets my students will have several options.
Also, many of my students need reading material that is high interest, but at their levels.
These graphic novels will be just the thing to meet their needs, and I know they will be a big hit in our class library.
