I have an amazing class of 23 students who come from different backgrounds. That does not stop their will to succeed. They come to school ready to gain knowledge that will help them become successful adults.
My school has about 500 Pre-K through 2nd grade students located in a low income community.
About 70% of our school receives free or reduced-price lunch. Many of my students' families are struggling financially and don't have access to computers. We have implemented a new Math curriculum this school year and my students just want to be able to use programs on the computer. I am hoping to provide them with the best chance to succeed in my class.
My Project
It is my goal to provide the best education for my students. Our school has implemented Eureka Math this year. The students are making remarkable progress with this curriculum. Their vocabulary is building and the math skills are improving. They love to use Math programs such as Zearn and Imagine Math to help reinforce the skill for the day. I have a limited amount of computers. Adding another Chromebook will allow more chances for these programs to be utilized successfully.

As the students use these programs, I am able to see their individual progress and provide more one-on-one instruction for those struggling. This Chromebook will allow my students who don't have access to a computer at home to utilize these programs.
