My Students

I want my students to have a firm foundation in number sense. This will help them later in school when they have to think both abstractly and concretely.

I have an amazing group of students.

They are very eager to learn. We attend a high poverty school where most of my students don't have the materials available to them to increase their learning. I want them to have as many resources as possible to help them learn.

My Project

These magnetic ten frames will help my students with addition, subtraction, number sense, and they will be able to increase their fluency. We will use these in both whole and small group activities. These foundational skills will be used throughout their education and will continue to increase in rigor.

This project will help grow my students' confidence.

They will be able to better explain their reasoning to others and it will give them a solid foundation. It will make them better math students and more prepared for the years ahead.
