My Project

My multilingual students need more than pencil and paper to connect with literacy. Many of them come to Kindergarten with little text exposure. They need whole body experience to relate to the strange new symbols.

Using beads, sand, and playdough to bring concrete fun to an abstract concept is my goal.

Just writing letters over and over again not enough to really connect kids to the English Alphabet. By turning on their sense of play and engaging multiple parts of the brain with tactile actions they will earn easier.

In addition, they would benifit from the bead number counter.
