Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are constantly asking me while working on the interactive station board could they move and touch with our interactive pen. Because of our ancient headphones, students must remain on the carpet and not interactive with our board during our literacy block.
My students attend a Title One school in North Carolina.
Currently, 90% of our students receive free or reduce breakfast and lunch. My classroom is an inclusion setting serving students who are developmentally delayed and non-English speaking kindergarteners.
My Project
I would like to add 5 wireless headphones in my interactive board learning station. This will allow for students to increase their learning through phonics, reading and math. My students will be able to be prepared for the 21st century by having access to technology. This is a wonderful tool for students to use during activity throughout the day. I am just as excited as my students are when integrating technology during my instruction.
We know that students learn by doing and many non-English speaking and special needs students need hands-on materials to increase their learning.
Please help my students interact with our Smartboard by providing them with the necessary tool for learning.
