My students are full of wonder and excitement for learning. Each day the kids come in full of energy and ready to learn. I am so lucky to spend 80 minutes with my readers and writers. During this time, I get to explore their imaginations, and the thoughts and feelings texts awaken in them.
My students give me new perspectives on texts, ideas, and daily experiences.
Just when I think I have heard and/or seen it all,one of my sweet students will share something new.
It is my goal to have a space so comfortable that my students feel comfortable to be themselves, take chances, and feel proud every day! Not to mention, excited to come in for a great learning experience each day.
My Project

Being able to move as they learn keeps student brains stimulated and alert.
Not only does it increase engagement, it will increase their enthusiasm for learning.
These flexible seating options allow student movement around the room. They also allow the students to make choices for how they will learn. Students have the ability to work and learn on the floor and around the room.
