I will have a new group of learners for the 2019-2020 school year. My students are a Kindergarten group (ages 5-6).
I would love to give my students a place where they can work independently while still feeling as though they can be as comfortable as possible.
We love to move around and have fun in our classroom while creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Kindergarteners are full of energy! This is what makes this age group so special. They are finding their independence and they have a love for learning. I would love to be able to foster an inviting atmosphere even more with the option of flexible seating!
My Project
Kindergarteners LOVE being able to move and have lots of energy. Through the use of flexible seating, they are able to get their wiggles out while still learning at a table to complete hands on activities.
My students will benefit from wobble chairs by being able to wobble and move back and forth while at their small group rotations!
This will help them from getting restless during independent stations.
Bean bags will be a great addition to my reading corner! Our class will need a quiet area to go and work on independent reading skills and bean bags will help them to achieve this goal in a comfy spot!
