Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My students come from a variety of backgrounds, including English language learners, special education students, gifted and talented, each with his or her own special needs. In our school, over 50% of the students receive free and reduced lunches.

It is very difficult to get funding for special need items for our classroom. However, this does not stop my students from wanting to learn. They have developed a real love for algebra, but we do not have any hands on materials to help them in their learning adventure.

The Pre Algebra kit is an interactive bulletin board. The students really would benefit from this type of learning as they would be able to drill by themselves, with partners, or as a group in all areas of Math.

Please consider donating to our project as you will help ensure that my students individual learning needs are met. You will make it possible for my students interest in math to soar to unbelievable heights.
