Motor Skills Equipment for Little Movers

My Project

During Covid, we had to get creative spreading the students out for recess, which meant that some classes didn't get to play on the playgrounds everyday. Our kindergarten motor skills closet had many activities to keep students busy and active when they didn't get to use the playground. Unfortunately, this caused a lot of wear and tear on our, usually indoor, motor skills equipment.

Large motor skills are important for little movers.

Hopping, kicking, throwing, and balancing, help students become coordinated and control their bodies. Our school has six kindergarten classes that utilize the kindergarten motorskills closet.
