Motor Into Fine Motor With Alphabet and Number Activities
Help me give my students activities they can do on their own to build their fine motor skills with the Learning Lacers and Learning Letters Set. Counting Cars and Count and Link activities to help build math skills.
My kindergartners are loving, caring, active and spontaneous both inside and outside our classroom. They come into class eager and ready to learn every day. I give my all to make their school lives warm and inviting.
Coming into class and learning to read is one of the hardest things they have to do but they put 110% into it.
For some of my Kindergartners learning the basic sight words is hard, let alone being able to read Kindergarten leveled text. I want to provide every one of them with a lifelong love of learning by providing them the tools they need to succeed!
My Project
As we begin the kindergarten school year a lot of my students are having trouble with their fine motor skills. Things adults forget we have learned to do in kindergarten, like how to hold a pencil, cut with scissors, or holding a crayon. It just comes naturally.
These activities will help my kindergarten students build up the muscles in their hands and also help them to learn their letters and numbers at the same time.
The activities included are all things that will keep students engaged while working independently at their seats during centers or when they just need a break.
I have included some Bingo games to help my students with learning their letters, numbers, and addition facts in a fun way! My kindergarten students are all about winning something and this will help them get that win feeling while also learning skills like taking turns, sharing, and having fun at the same.
