Each person that we work with is motivated by different things. Some are motivated by things as simple as coins that show they were caught doing good, others are motivated by bigger things like tumblers or headphones. They have an opportunity to earn what motivates them as they work hard and earn tokens to trade in for their specific reward.
Our project is designed to motivate and encourage hard work!
There has been a lot of hard work put into thinking of possible items to motivate those we work with. Some things, like tumblers, cell phone cases and collapsible utensils will require more work to earn than things like pens and fidgets.
Each item included in our project is something that has high value of motivation. They will earn these items by completing assignments, doing nice things for those around them, going above and beyond in an effort to work hard. Because they are higher value motivators, we need your help to provide these motivators and reinforcements.
Our students each face different struggles, whether it is struggling to complete a project, or struggling to show kindness and help others. When they are motivated, nothing can keep them from accomplishing their goals to do these things. We know that with lots of motivation, we can move mountains and really help our students succeed!
