Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

When I ask my students what would be a good project, they gave me the following suggestions:

Good Food for a Wonderful School and

SHARE: Student Health and Restorative Education.

Our students are on a mission for their wellness, nourishment, and overall health development as they explore increasing their education and awareness through restorative justice projects, psychoeducational workshops, and more. Our students attend groups during their lunch or advisory periods and then in turn lead workshops at times for their peers and sometimes even for our staff! Every day students stop by the counseling office to see what snacks or sensory items exist to motivate them to attend and maximize their energy throughout the day.
