Help me give my students fun and motivational materials to help time fly by until the end of the year! We need some incentives and materials to keep engagement up such as new headphones, clipboards, and wiggle seats!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Teaching at our school has given me the opportunity to make a difference in so many student's lives! I believe they have taught me just as much as I have taught them.
We are a Title I school that provides students with a safe place to learn in rough neighborhood.
The staff all work super hard to give these kids everything they need to succeed and I am so honored to get to join them with this goal in mind. All students deserve the best and that is exactly what my school tries to provide them.
My Project
January seemed to last forever for my students, with no snow days and lots of testing they have worked so hard and need some rewards! We desperately need headphones and clipboards so students can stretch out on the carpet and play interactive educational iPad games and take notes.
7-year olds were not meant to sit still for 8 hours a day!
We would also love to have some wiggle seats to help them get their energy focused on academics and allow them to concentrate on their learning!
Lastly, their hard work deserves rewards! Kids love to work toward incentives and I love to see how much effort they put into their work and believe they should be rewarded for their effort; whether it be with a piece of candy, or a little prize! Thank you for helping my scholars enjoy 1st grade and prepare for 2nd grade!
