This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At Mound Fort Jr. High, our students are remarkable for their resilience, creativity, and determination. They face unique challenges during these formative years, yet they consistently rise to meet them with strength and potential. Providing snacks and essential supplies through this project is more than just meeting basic needs; it’s an investment in their future. These students are deeply engaged in their learning, and when we remove barriers like hunger and lack of materials, we empower them to excel.

Our goal with this project is to helps nurture student growth, allowing them to focus on developing their talents and becoming the leaders of tomorrow.

This will allow the to thrive and feel loved and supported by their Mound Fort family.
