My Project

This Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will help me provide my middle school students with materials that are motivating and exciting. My group of middle school students are a great bunch of kids. They are friendly students who enjoy interacting and engaging in conversation. Unfortunately, going to speech in middle school is something that some students make fun of. As a result, my students are not excited and motivated to come to their speech sessions. I notice a difference in their attitudes when I present them with tasks that include current information and topics that are interesting to them. Teachers Pay Teachers provides a large variety of topics, some being as new as yesterday, that are motivating and exciting. I use these materials and topics to facilitate discussion and help my students succeed at their speech and language goals. The material from this site helps me motivate my students to improve and become the best communicator and student they can possibly be.
