I love my students because of the diversity and joy they bring in my classroom. I teach middle school because I know it will never be the same everyday. The students in my class are from different backgrounds and have had different experiences within their lives. My hope is as students work in my classroom they become a community and learn from each other.
The goal in my classroom is to gain trust, respect, and curiosity between my students, their community and myself!
My Project
These items will allow for students to have flexible seating within the math classroom. With different forms of seating and different abilities to stay in motion we help students to keep their brains and bodies activated.
When students are activated in both body and mind they are taken to a higher level of engagement and learning.
Each student will have the ability to have resources that they need, as well as, seating that will help them develop in both groups and individually. Simple resources such as the paper and pencil help our everyday learning, while the flexible seating options help the individual learners grow!
