My students need meaningful engagement and a morning routine full of morning tubs that will engage them the minute they walk into our classroom.

My Students
My students are a small group of kids who are so eager to learn. My five and six year olds are excited to meet new friends and explore the world of education through hands-on and active learning.
Coming from a small, rural town, the diversity in my classroom is limited.
However, they are an even mix of male and female students who work well together. They are continually learning how to be a good friend and student in our school community.
My Project
My goal for this project is to be able to create a morning routine full of morning tubs that will engage my students the minute they walk into our classroom. I am asking for a set of Magna-Tiles, two sets of Assorted Geoboards, two sets of Unifix Letter Cubes, a Bananagrams Spelling Game and some Multicolor Rubber Bands to create morning tubs.
These morning tubs will consist of reading and math based centers that will promote student learning as they work with their peers.
These tubs will allow my students to "play" as they learn and build upon a concept we have already covered in class. Because play is essential in primary classrooms to help build social skills, what better way to get the kids playing and learning at the same time?
