Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Often, I have students who are late for school. They either missed the bus or get dropped off after breakfast has ended. This snack will provide them with a burst of energy to kick-start their day.

Technology is a must.

Providing a laptop as an information station will allow my students to access resources to improve their academic skills in literacy and math. My students are middle schoolers and will greatly benefit from the use of this technology station. My school has a limited amount of shared Chromebooks that are often in need of repair. This touchscreen laptop will allow my students to explore reading and math programs, and search for resources in history and science. This laptop will help give my students the necessary additional individualized instruction that they need in order to excel in school.
