My Students

My students are passionate about developing great video presentations, but are stalled due to insufficient resources.

My third grade students are leaders of our school's Morning Meeting Team.

Weekly, they work in small teams to present a short video informing our entire student body about current events, sports, book reviews, and student editorials. They look forward to applying their ELA skills and content knowledge into mini-videos to share with others.

My Project

In this grant, we are asking for a laptop computer that will support the memory, processor, and video graphic requirements for what we are trying to accomplish. Our current computer systems are lacking in all of the above areas and are holding my third graders back from producing the best that they have to offer.

My students are eager to incorporate more sophisticated graphics and transitions in the videos they share with others.

With the right equipment, there is no doubt they can produce professional quality videos even at this young age.
