I teach 27 amazing, diverse and talented Kindergarten students in a Title 1 Pittsburgh Public School.
Each of my students loves learning. They enjoy hands-on experiences too! Some of my kids come from households where educational supplies are not always readily available. With such a large class, I do my best to provide, love, care and teach each of them so they can succeed!
My Project
Rituals and routines are a staple in our Kindergarten room. Growing our literacy and math skills are equally important! Now, let’s combine the two.
My students will be able to have morning binders that will include activities to grow his/her literacy and math skills.
The binders will become a routine to each student for the first part of the day and will also allow me to work with students that could use some focused instruction.
We love using our computers for literacy and math practice. However, our headphones do not last as long as a teacher would hope! These new headphones will be extremely helpful so that students can grow their literacy and math knowledge!
