My Students
Young artists have so much talent, but not the supplies available to demonstrate it. I would love for them to be able to experience all that art can do for them without having to worry about not having the materials to take them there.
Each student has a unique voice and story, and we want them to have the opportunity to share that story with the world through their artwork. Many of the students with the most depth and talent are among our socioeconomically and academically challenged. We do not want our students to worry about resources and art supplies.
My Project
Students will be able to create individual works of art that express something valuable about the world they live in. Next year, we are changing up rooms and the new classroom will not have basic supplies like rules, colored pencils and scissors. By having supplies in the new classroom, we would not need to go in and interrupt the other classroom
This opportunity will greatly help in having more rooms to offer more art classes and all we need is your help to creatively express the world around us.
Art gives students a way to express themselves in ways they would not be able to otherwise.
