My classroom consists of 11 energetic and curious K-1 special needs students. We are the only primary special education classroom in our building. My students love to build, create and explore the environment around them.
Our classroom is a safe space where all students are treated as individuals and are able to learn from their peers.
My special needs students love to play and learn through a variety of sensory experiences. Sensory experiences like sensory bins and calming tubes can create therapeutic experiences for special needs students to utilize throughout their school day.
My students can greatly benefit from more sensory exploration, and these materials will help them to express themselves through a variety of ways.
