My Students

This is a classroom of busy! This is the first year in our district that we have a classroom of only 3 year olds, and it is so much fun! They love to play, create, dance, and learn! They love that we are able to utilize technology during our day, but they also love being at their tables painting, coloring, and participating in small groups/centers.

Each of these kiddos has such a fun and outgoing personality, and for a first year teacher, I couldn't ask for anything better!

My Project

In our classroom now, we have three rectangular tables to fit 16 students. Because we have all three year old students in our room, it does make it challenging for them to learn about personal space boundaries.

By adding a fourth table, each of these students will be able to have a larger working space, as well as extra elbow room.

During our day, we transition a lot from our tables, to the carpet, and to other places in the room. Having the extra table will be so beneficial because it will make small groups and centers easier for work time.
