Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students love coming to school. Their enthusiasm for learning makes teaching them a blast! Our school is located in one of the poorest areas in our city and many of my students live in poverty.
My students are young and eager to learn.
They like to sing, dance, and play. They love learning with their hands. They are full of enthusiasm. I want them to have many opportunities to live a successful life. For many, it starts in my classroom.
My Project
My students need a good supply of construction paper. This year we are in constant need of it. We use it for painting, cutting, coloring, rainbow writing and practicing writing letters and numbers.
My kindergarten students go through a lot of supplies quickly.
One thing they love is to write on our dry erase boards but our dry our erase markers are slowly diminishing, so some more would allow them to keep writing in a fun way. . The easy squeeze glue tubes would allow my students to do more art projects that require strong glue
Lastly, I would love to add some new books to our class library.
